Vrnjacka Banja gets congress center - Solaris Resort offers new facilities in addition to luxury suites, golden hammam and tennis court

Vrnjci's thermal springs, which were known even to ancient Romans, annually attract over 100,000 tourists from all over the world. There is now a new hotel at the disposal of visitors who come to Vrnjacka Banja spa resort for rest and recreation and to attend numerous events. The first guests of Solaris Resort, who were staying at this hotel as of May 1st, realized why this facility stands out among its competitors.

Guided by contemporary trends in the hotel industry, the investor has decided to offer only exclusive suites to guests.

- Nowadays, the demand for spacious and comfortable accommodation units is higher than before. The company Gratim, which operates this facility, has decided to offer its guests a feeling of greater comfort than usual.

Solaris Resort is primarily intended for people seeking rest and recreation. It is expected to attract tourists from both the country and abroad.

- We expect to receive guests wishing for rest and enjoyment away from the city noise, especially on weekends, as well as guests on a family vacation. I believe that a large number of athletes will be staying at this hotel because it can offer them adequate conditions for recreation, but the hotel is also a perfect option for businessmen and all other guests who expect a bit more than a standard comfort from their vacation – eKapija's interlocutor stresses.

The hotel's offer includes a fitness center featuring cutting-edge workout equipment and a tennis court built on the cushioned hardcourt Rebound Ace, which is composed of polyurethane rubber, fiberglass and other materials on top of an asphalt or reinforced concrete base and used to be the official surface of the Australian Open.

There is also a wellness center that should enable guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest. It comprises a caldarium, tepidarium, salt cave, Finnish sauna, Russian bath, golden hammam, hot tub for 10 persons, VIP wellness room, tropical rain shower, cosmetic salon, beauty parlor, rooms for massage, etc.

Solaris Resort is also a destination for business people. The hotel currently includes a seminar room, while a congress room will be built soon.

- Our seminar room is fitted with up-to-date video and audio equipment. It can accommodate 60 to 80 people and host various events - seminars, presentations, lectures, conferences. Since we plan to add a congress center with up to 250 seats to our offer, we expect a large number of guests taking part in various congresses at our hotel. Therefore, we can say that we see Solaris Resort as one of the facilities that will successfully affect the development of congress tourism in these areas.

New facilities in late 2013

The plan for the second phase of construction of Solaris Resort hotel is to build 44 accommodation units, a congress center and a restaurant with up to 250 seats each, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a playroom for children.

Once the whole facility is finished, it will span 10,000 square meters. The total value of this investment will reach EUR 10 million.

The design is done by the company Merop from Vrnjacka Banja. Contractor for the first phase of works was Ljuba Invest from Paracin, whereas the second-phase works are entrusted to Gocanin Gradnja from Vrnjacka Banja. BIBIS Belgrade was responsible for equipping the wellness center, Omnipromet Belgrade for fitting out the kitchen, while the hotel interior was done by Blazeks Kragujevac.
