Roda in Valjevo - Mercator S opens mega market in city on the Kolubara river

Slovenia's Mercator S opened a Roda mega market in Valjevo on June 22nd, in the presence of a large number of citizens and city celebrities. The first shopping center in Valjevo is built in an attractive location in the vicinity of the largest residential complex Oslobodioci Valjevo, railway station and the Valjevo police station, it was announced on the website of the city of Valjevo.

This 3,400-square-meter facility employs 60 workers, who will be selling over 15,000 articles at very favorable prices. In addition to a rich offer of fresh fruits and vegetables, various kinds of fresh meat and delicatessen products, confectioneries, cosmetics, cleaning products and other consumer products, this Roda mega market also includes a contemporary bakery. There is also a 65-space parking lot for buyers next to the facility.

The investment is worth EUR 6 million, and the building was built in less than six months.

On the occasion of its arrival in Valjevo, Mercator S, as a socially responsible company, has donated RSD 220,000 to the maternity ward of the Valjevo Health Center for medical equipment and further development of that institution. Ten new Dormeo mattresses and pillows will make the recovery of mothers much easier.
