Novi Sad-based Elektrotehnika Juzna Backa wins EUR 5 million construction contract in Frankfurt

Novi Sad-based Energotehnika Juzna Backa (EJB) participates in the construction of a business facility of the insurance company Allianz in Germany under a contract worth EUR 5 million, the company said in a release on Friday (23 November 2012).

The project involves the construction of a green building worth EUR 200 million, whereas EJB is to build the complete electricity infrastructure, which includes planning, supply and installation of materials and equipment.

There are 42 workers of EJB currently working on this project in Germany, and the plan is to increase that number in the future.

The future business building of Allianz, Triton House, is situated in downtown Frankfurt. Its total surface area is 50,000 square meters.

Energotehnika Juzna Backa was founded in 1958 as part of the company Elektrovojvodina. It is engaged in the construction and maintenance of power facilities, and it was privatized in 2010. when it had 253 workers. EJB now employs about 420 people.
