Ikea in Nis?

Sweden's Ikea should have its facilities built on an area next to the road to the village of Camurlija near Nis, Nis Mayor Zoran Perisic announced.

According to him, new investors that are coming to Nis have big plans for the northern part of the city. In addition to Eyemaxx, which has been planning the construction of a cargo center at the Nis Airport for a long time now, there are other prospective investors, one of which is the Swedish furniture manufacturer Ikea.

- As far as I know, an Ikea facility should be built in the corner between Camurlija and the highway. I talked with the representatives of that company, who told me that they already had a land lot there - said Perisic.

He added that Ikea would be accompanied by other large investors, such as Bauhaus, which is also engaged in the sale of furniture and other household supplies.

The mayor of Nis also said that people living in the Crveni Krst borough, where that Ikea facility should be built, would get new jobs as well as new streets and new investments.
