Weekend tourists get free land lots in Valjevo for their log cabins

With the aim of reviving the villages and developing the rural tourism, Rebelj-Medvednik Association of Householders from Valjevo has launched the initiative "Free Land for Your Log Cabin".

These householders are offering 3-are land lots for log cabins free of charge for a period of 99 years. The lots are situated alongside a road, in the village of Rebelj at the foot of Mount Medvednik, some thirty kilometers away from Valjevo.

In order to get this land, all those interested must meet the following requirements: log cabins must be built in a traditional manner with the use of natural materials, they must always be in use, that is, when owners don't use their log cabins, they must rent them to other interested people, etc.
