RADULOVIC: Apartment prices must go down, no more subsidized loans

Serbian Economy Minister Sasa Radulovic said Wednesday that the technical problem with the allotment of subsidies for housing loans would be solved by next week.

As he told the press during a break at an event dedicated to the support to the EU innovation program, subsidies will be paid to all those to whom they are promised right after aforementioned problem is solved.

Radulovic noted that subsidized housing loans would not be granted in 2014.

Radulovic stressed that high prices of apartments were a result of the subsidizing of housing loans.

- Apartment prices simply have to be reduced, and so do the monthly installments towards housing loans - said Radulovic.
