Citizens of Svilajnac to get new water factory in Spring 2007, investment worth 2m EUR

The Water Fund of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Waterpower Engineering and the Town Hall of Svilajnac will finance the construction of the water factory in Svilajnac with about 2m EUR. The factory will be finished in March or at the beginning of April 2007.

The factory will be built on Perkićevo spring by company "Lad Beograd" and it will be equipped with the machines from England and Italy for nitrate elimination, with which Svilajnac had problems this year.

With the construction of this factory, Svilajnac will obtain healthier and potable water. Also, the water supply problem will be solved on a period longer than 20 years.
