Arab investor Mohammed Al Abbar presents Belgrade on Water project

Mohammed Al Abbar, an investor from the United Arab Emirates, presented the Belgrade on Water project in Belgrade on Saturday. This presentation was attended by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
As the Serbian government said in a release, Mohammed Al Abbar's newly formed company Eagle Hills plans to focus on the construction of a modern city center with multipurpose facilities.
According to the release, among these multipurpose buildings will be residential and commercial properties, shopping centers, retail stores, restaurants, educational and health centers, etc.
This whole project would be implemented by that Arab company in cooperation with local partners from Serbia.
The presentation of the Belgrade on Water project was also attended by Serbian Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic, members of the Serbian government, and Sinisa Mali, the president of the Temporary Council of Belgrade.
According to previous announcements, this project should allow for the creation of 20,000 new jobs in Serbia and secure contracts to local construction companies.
Exclusive hotels and the biggest shopping center in Serbia should be built in the first zone, the second zone will feature cultural and sports facilities, while the third zone, the one along Savska Street and Karadjordjeva Street, will comprise commercial facilities.
