Kosančićev Venac Street in Belgrade to obtain another 70,000 square meters of land suitable for large investments
Widening of Karađorđeva Street, construction of commemorative center on the location of the National Library, new stairways, organization of coast and new 70,000 square meters of building land are the biggest innovations in the Draft Plan for Detailed Regulation for the city area of Kosančićev Venac in Belgrade.
The draft of this plan was represented yesterday (January 16, 2007) in the premises of Town Hall of Stari grad.
According to the words of Vera Mihajlović from the City Planning Institute, the new regulation plan for this part of the city implies reconstruction of the facilities of historical importance, which are located in Kosančićev Venac (curved street). However, due to the landslide that appeared, the priority is the rehabilitation of the slope.
According to the new regulation plan, that part of Belgrade, in addition to existing 100,000 square meters, will obtain another 70,000 square meters of building land. The most attractive locations for future investors are in the zone of Karađorđeva Street and part of Pariska Street.
Yesterday, at the public discussion, it could have been heard that the prices of certain parcels of building land in this part of the city reach amount of 2.5m EUR.
