Jagodina gets shopping center in August - Works on Vivo shopping mall expected to end June 15th
Construction of the shopping center Vivo in Jagodina will be finished June 15th as planned, and the facility will be opened late August.
- Technical inspection of the facility will take place June 16-20, a commission has already been formed and we expect to get an operating permit shortly afterwards - Vivo CEO Pavle Andric told Tanjug news agency.
He explained that all tenants should move in, hire workers and finish their training by mid-August so the shopping center could open to customers at the end of August.
A total of 1,350 people have applied for 300 vacancies at the new shopping center. All tenants have received a list of applicants, and it is likely that some of them have already been interviewed by their prospective employers, Andric added.
Andric noted that Vivo shopping center in Jagodina had over 30 tenants occupying more than 90% of the gross leasable area.
Main works are now being carried out on access roads, paths, parking lots... Construction of Vivo Shopping Center commenced 12 December 2013. It is a modern retail park hosting 33 famous brands and featuring a parking lot for 360 cars.
Vivo Shopping Center is built within a complex of the Tourism and Sports Center on an area of 25,000 square meters. The complex is comprised of four buildings that make up a whole, Andric explained.
As Andric pointed out, Vivo Shopping Center is a place where families will come to shop and have fun.
- It is situated in Jagodina which is by all parameters the city of the future of central Serbia, located on Corridor X, 130 kilometers away from Belgrade, in the center of the Pomoravlje Region with a population of over 250,000 - said Andric.
