"Safari" in Surčin – Israeli company to have exclusive tourist complex built in suburbs of Belgrade
Intensive development of infrastructure in the youngest Belgrade’s borough of Surčin attracted the investors from Israel, which will have the golf courts and hotels built within next 10 years. This was announced by the Mayor of that borough Vojislav Janošević.
Janošević pointed to the fact that the investor would rent 130 ha of land between the forests Gibavac and Cerova Greda, where the golf courts would be built and that complex would employ about 1,000 people.
Total of three hotels will be built around the golf courts, one of which will be of the highest category, as well as related servicing facilities, equipment stores ...
At the recently held seminar on development of tourism in the suburbs, Janošević said that there were ideas for another two attractive projects. One of them is the construction of a big city park on about 200 ha with the attractive flora and fauna and small lakes on the Surčin-Bežanija field, along the left bank of the Sava near Block 45.
The second project is the construction of ZOO on the same field. That ZOO would have its safari section where tourists would be able to watch animals while driving in a jeep.
