Invitation for Star Venture Program for Startups and SMEs Opens

The Star Venture program is meant for small and medium enterprises and has been created with the aim of finding startups with high potential and mobilizing global expertise in an attempt to help companies in the early stages of development, and it is launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Star Venture is an industry agnostic and mostly seeks young registered companies with a turnover of up to EUR 1 million, constant income, apparent competitive advantage and the faith that, with the right support, they have the potential to grow fast and become recognized on an international level.

It is competition-based, and the chosen companies will join a selected group of dynamic management teams in an intensive support program of up to 18 months.

The program includes access to mentorship, technical consulting, advice on financing mechanisms, access to expanded networks of clients and partners, entrepreneurs, high-level managers and an international network of soft-landing programs.

Application deadline is September 30, and help in preparing an application will be provided by local teams of the EBRD and regional accelerators. The form and additional guidelines can be found on the EBRD website.
