Efino from Switzerland Helping Serbian Startups

Representatives of the Swiss organization Efino Brigitte Baumann and Maria-Carolina Romero are visiting Belgrade this weekend and helping the local non-profit organization Inicijativa Digitalna Srbija (Digital Serbia Initiative) by providing advice as to how to raise their capacities when it comes to supporting startups and local business angels, Digitalna Srbija announced.

The initiative says that the visit of the Swiss business angels comes at a moment when Serbia is working on the first national Strategy of the Development of a Startup Ecosystem and when the first groups of business angels are being founded.

It is also said that the guests from Switzerland are meeting with investors and representatives of local organizations for supporting startups – Inicijativa Digitalna Srbija, a group of business angels gathered around this organization, as well as representatives of ICT Hub Venture and other relevant actors in the startup scene.

The Swiss organization Efina educates investors to invest in startups in an early phase of development, and it helps entrepreneurs to successfully prepare or run financing cycles.

– Brigitte Baumann and Maria-Carolina Romero are business angels with rich entrepreneurial careers in mentoring startups in various world markets – says the announcement made by Inicijativa Digitalna Srbija.

They are coming to Serbia as advisers specialized in the development of skills and knowledge in the field of investments, from the angles of the investors, the funds, but also the startups themselves.
