Albania limits import of medicaments of Galenika and Hemofarm
Minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic, said yesterday that in early September, Albania adopted the law which limits import of drugs and medicaments which closed that market for 110 products of Galenika and Hemofarm which are placed there.
- That Albanian decision, opposite of CEFTA agreement and protocols signed by Serbia and Albania. It is a big financial minus. Serbia will not allow that Albania imposes new rules which will destroy a part of production in our economy without implications from our side - Sertic said at the SCC at the meeting of promotion of export of Serbian economy and added that he pointed out at the problem during the visit of Albanian prime minister in Serbia.
He outlined that it is a common case that within CEFTA similar problems occur, reminding of the case Serbia had with Macedonia last year when it comes to crops as well as this year with Bosnia and Herzegovina with respect to beer industry.
