Contract for continued construction of Zezelj bridge totaling EUR 3 m signed - Deadline for works completion is 17 months
Today, at Zeleznice Srbije, documents on continuing construction of the Zezelj bridge at the Danube in Novi Sad which provided additional EUR 3 m for bridge completion which should be a part of the Belgrade-Budapest railroad were signed.
It was planned the bridge will be finished in 17 months and for additional
three months, disassembling of a temporary bridge should be over, it was
communicated at the conference after signing the document.
Annex to the basic contract on
construction of the Zezelj bridge, Memorandum of understanding, Contract of
method of transfer of funds for project funding and contract on funding for 2015, was signed by GM at
"Zeleznice" Miroslav Stojcic, president of the Provincial government,
Bojan Pajtic, the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic and representative of
contractor, Spanish company"Azvi2.
The contractor is Spanish-Italian consortium, "Azvi-Tadei-Horta Koslada" and problems in bridge rehabilitation appeared due to additional works which increased the price of already agreed work.
New bridge will have two railway tracks, two roads 7,7 m long and two pedestrian and bicycling paths 2,5 meters wide. It will be 474 m long and 31 m wide.
