February 1 to see toll price increase of 10% - Putevi Srbije expect income increase of RSD 1,6 billion

As of February 1, toll at highways of Serbia will increase by 10% and it is estimated that profit will total RSD 19,1 billion, PC Putevi Srbije communicated on Sunday.

New pricelist which Putevi Srbije will propose to teh Government of Serbia, comprises that Belgrade-Nis section will be charged RSD 800 instead of RSD 730, for Belgrade-Sid, drivers will have to set aside RSD 370 instead of current RSD 340 while Belgrade-Subotica toll will total RSD 320 instead of current 290.

The company communicates that price increase is coming after eight years since toll price has not changed since 2008 while at the same time, prices of material, fuel and equipment used for highway and roads maintenance went up.

According to acting manager at Putevi Srbije, Zoran Drobnjak, price increase will generate RSD 1,6 billion more to that company for roads maintenance this year.
