Free email registration at APR available until October 1

Companies, representations and branch offices of foreign companies, as well as enterprises already listed in the Company Register have until October 1, 2019, to register an email for free, after which the service will be subject to a fee.

Email registration is an obligation for companies arising from the Company Law, which has applied since October 2018 to companies being founded, whereas all the companies which registered prior to that date need to register this piece of data if it is not already listed at the Business Registers Agency (APR).

Companies need to fill out the form pertaining to companies (required data) and addendum no. 31, whereas enterprises need to file the form pertaining to enterprises (required data) and addendum no. 16.

Filled-out forms can be submitted in person at APR or by mail, in line with the Law on the Registration Procedure at the Business Registers Agency.

The obligation also arises from the law regulating the electronic document based on which APR send the decision on the registration of the founding by email to the business entities who file an electronic founding registration, as well as other notifications based on which the Agency communicates with companies and citizens which use other electronic services offered by APR, such as electronic submission of financial reports.
