German Retail Chain Mix Markt to Open New Stores in Balkans – Plans Include Serbian Market

The Germany-based international retail chain Mix Markt is opening new stores in the Balkans and announcing entrance to new markets. The plans envisage entrance to the market of Serbia as well, according to the Retail Serbia portal.

– The company’s management finds the Balkans region very interesting. The plan is to expand to new markets. At the moment, we can’t provide more information, but we will certainly notify the public about the further plans on time. The future plans also entail the entrance to the Serbian market – the company’s management told Retail Serbia.

Mix Markt is an international market chain which was founded in 1997 and is the biggest partner of Monolith Group. The chain operates in more than 300 locations throughout Europe. In Germany, it operates with over 160 markets and opens new retail outlets. The company currently operates five markets in Herceg Novi, Bar, Tivat, Podgorica and Budva.
