Kula to Build Water Sports Complex – Public Invitation for Finishing Works Ongoing

The Municipality of Kula has opened the public invitation for the finishing works within the first phase of the construction of the Sports and Recreation Center in Kula.

The complex is located on an area of 67,987 m2. It is bordered on the north by Marsala Tita Street, on the west by Njegoseva Street, on the south by Svetozara Miletica Street, and its east side leans on the existing complex of outdoor sports courts.

The sports center complex is dominated by swimming and water sports features. Various outdoor and indoor features are planned within the complex, and, in order to secure adequate accompanying features, a variety of hospitality facilities is planned as well, according to the documentation.

The construction is planned in three phases.

Let us remind that the first phase took place back in 2019, when an additional RSD 53 million was secured for the construction of the Sports and Recreation Center in Vasariste in Kula.

– The works could be prolonged a bit due to unforeseen budget costs, but in no way will they stop – the president of the Municipality of Kula, Damjan Miljanic, said at the time.
