Three ways to separate the kitchen from the living room
Sliding doors - An excellent solution if you like open space, but at the same time you don`t want to sacrifice privacy, are doors that you open and close as needed. If you choose a glass door, you`ll also get a bonus light.
Curtain - It won`t help you when it comes to smells, but it will if you want some privacy. Curtains are the easiest and cheapest way to separate two areas. Depending on the effect you want to achieve, select transparent or opaque fabrics. Like the door, you can tuck it away if needed by tying it with a ribbon, giving it an elegant look.
Shelf - If you want a more permanent solution, without it being a partition wall, shelves that go to the top of the ceiling are an ideal option. They can be open or closed, and you can decorate them with books, vases, photos, dishes. If you still want to have a view of the kitchen, choose lower dressers or cabinets.
